Tungsten Wire
Tungsten wire, which is made by forging and drawing tungsten pieces. Tungsten wire is mainly used in electric light sources such as incandescent lamps and tungsten halogen lamps. For the tungsten filaments of various illuminants, it is necessary to incorporate a small amount of oxides of potassium, silicon and aluminum in the metallizing process. This tungsten filament is called doped tungsten wire (also known as 218 tungsten wire or Non-sagging tungsten wire (Non-sagTungstenWire).
Use of tungsten wire
1. Make the filament.
2. High speed cutting of alloy steel.
3. Chemical instruments.
4. High temperature molybdenum wire used as a vacuum furnace.
5. Used as a filament for automotive halogen lamps.
Surface quality and appearance of
tungsten wire 1. The surface of the tungsten wire is coated with graphite milk, and the surface is uniform black.
2. The tungsten wire is washed with alkali to remove the surface graphite milk and has a metallic luster.
3. The tungsten wire is treated by a vacuum hydrogen furnace, and the surface is bright.
4. The tungsten wire is electrochemically polished and the surface is bright.
